About the practice

A small practice, set up for slower visits

Many people avoid the dentist because of the bright lamp, the noise, a hand near the face or not knowing what comes next. Hawley Street Dental has two dentists, long appointments and a short list of things we change on request. The visit is the thing we work on.

What we changed in the office

  • Light

A lamp aimed away from your face, soft overhead light and a window in every treatment room.

  • Sound

No radio and no announcements. Handpieces are shown and named before they run, and headphones are on the shelf.

  • Time

Longer appointments with a gap after, so nobody is hurried out or kept waiting.

  • Space

Rooms with a door that closes, a quiet corner in the front room and a seat for a caregiver.

Who you'll see

Both see adults and children. You can ask for either one, and we aim to put you with the same dentist each time.
